Pilates is an exercise method developed by Joseph Humbertus Pilates in the 1920s.   This system of exercise focuses on controlled movement, stretching, strengthening and breathing, emphasizing mindful movement. There should be complete coordination of the body and the mind. The better connection you establish with your body, the better results you will achieve.

 

It also utilizes specialized equipments to facilitate better movement patterns.
